Who can register on the platform after coming in the country:
- Ukrainians who have already arrived in the country with any visa for the Ukrainian scheme (family, sponsorship) and want to get access to various Assistance Offers such as help with kid's equipment and clothes, job offers, etc. 
Ukrainians who have already arrived in the UK on a sponsored visa but need a change of sponsor.
Important! Registration on the site for people, who are already in the UK is possible not only for those who came on the sponsorship scheme, but also for everyone who came on Family and Extension visas too. Everyone can use offers of help, but only those who are sponsored can take advantage of sponsor replacement from above.

How to apply for Offers of Help:
1. Register the Opora as I am a Ukrainian who has arrived in the United Kingdom under the Homes for Ukraine or the Family Sponsorship visa.2. Enter all the required data for registration, read and accept the Terms of Use and Privacy when registering.3. Confirm your profile on the mail which you registered with. Check your spam folder and expect it may take a few hours for confirmation.4. Fill in About me and People In Your Group profile.5. Now you can use our offers of help in the section Offers of help.In each offer, you can read the description, conditions and fill out the application form.
How to apply for a new sponsor (only for those who came on a Sponsor visa)
Step 1. Registering on the site and requesting help in searching for a sponsor.
1. Register on Opora as I am a Ukrainian who has arrived in the United Kingdom under the Homes for Ukraine or the Family Sponsorship visa.2. Enter all the required data for registration, read and accept the Terms of Use and Privacy when registering.3. Confirm your profile on the mail which you registered with. Check your spam folder and expect it may take a few hours for confirmation.4. Fill in About me and People In Your Group profile.5. Click on the Request assistance button at the bottom of My profile.6. Fill in the form about yourself My Needs.7. Now you can search for a sponsor using our database by yourself and also our sponsors can see you in the database indicating that you are already in the UK.
Step 2. Searching a new sponsor on the OPORA platform

If you would like to proactively searchClick "Find a Sponsor" and you can filter/search. Write to sponsors using the preferred method of communication.
If you would like to wait for contactExpect emails and messages from potential sponsors. Try to answer as soon as possible, and if you haven't described it in detail in your profile, speak out your situation. 
Step 3. Sponsor contact
You are in contact with a sponsor, or with several sponsors. Your decision to consider several sponsors at the same time or only one. How do you decide if this sponsor is good for you?Fix time to talk to a potential sponsor via video call - Zoom, WhatsApp, …Talk about your and their daily duties, and don't be afraid to ask awkward questions, especially if something doesn’t suit you.Approach consciously to checks and remember about elementary security when communicating via the Internet.

 If you have found a sponsor, mark it in your profile - go to ‘My Profile’, at the bottom of the page you can find the Link to Sponsor field, where you enter the unique code that you receive from the sponsor.
