DROP-IN SUPPORT GROUPS

Bi-weekly online meetings – a warm, safe space to talk, be heard, and feel supported. These online drop-in groups are designed for Ukrainians living in the UK who are navigating displacement, uncertainty, and the challenges of rebuilding life in an unfamiliar place. No referral needed. No waiting list. Just show up.
Impact: 1,800 attendances over 18 months | 15-20 participants per session
Led by Maryana Petryk – a psychologist (MA) with extensive experience supporting displaced Ukrainians. The sessions provide a warm, non-judgemental space where you can talk about what matters to you, connect with others facing similar challenges, and discover you're not alone.
What happens in sessions:● Share experiences in a confidential, supportive environment● Process emotions around displacement, loss, and adaptation● Learn coping strategies from a qualified psychologist● Build connections with others who understand● Ask questions and get professional guidance
Sessions are held in Ukrainian, every two weeks. We're actively working to expand these groups to include dedicated sessions for specific communities (single mothers, young adults, men) and themed sessions addressing particular challenges (visa anxiety, parenting while traumatized, career transitions). If you'd like to see specific groups or topics, let us know at .ku.aropo%40htlaehlatnem
