Fundraising campaign

Help us raise £20,000 to continue supporting Ukrainians rebuilding their lives in the UK
OPORA exists because of people like you. We receive no government funding - every step we take to support displaced Ukrainians is powered by grants and donations from compassionate individuals and organisations.
Your support helps Ukrainians adapt, assert their rights, to rebuild their lives in safety here in the UK.
Opora impact in 2025 so far:
7,500+ individual enquiries answered via live chat, email, and our online assistant - providing critical, timely guidance. 100,000 website visits - that’s 500 people every day accessing empowering information and tools. 27 online events delivered, including video guides on urgent topics like housing, legal rights, and mental health. 1,500+ Ukrainians received psychological support through group sessions and online programmes. ● 500 people supported with complex visa extension applications and technical barriers to staying safe in the UK.
Help us continue this essential work. Every contribution - large or small - makes a real difference.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is a way to donate directly from your salary – automatically and tax-efficiently. It's simple and beneficial: HMRC adds the tax you would have paid on the donation, meaning you give more while it costs you less.

How to support OPORA through Payroll Giving

Speak to your HR department or send them a message asking:
“Does our company offer a Payroll Giving scheme?”
(It may also be called Give As You Earn or GAYE.)

If your employer is enrolled, just fill in the form and specify:
● Your preferred monthly donation (£5, £10 or more)
● The charity name: OPORA UK
● Our registered charity number: 1199760
● Ask if your employer offers a Matching Gift, which could double your donation.

Your HR team will do the rest. Your chosen donation will be automatically deducted from your salary each month. Plus, part of your donation is boosted by tax relief — so your impact is even greater.

Get Your Employer Involved

Many companies in the UK have corporate giving programmes — for example, they match employee donations or fund initiatives that matter to their teams. If your employer supports charities, this could be a great opportunity to help OPORA secure additional resources to support Ukrainians.

Here’s what you can do:
● Ask your HR department or manager if your company has a charity matching or corporate giving scheme.
● If they do — email us at: ku.aropo%40gnisiardnuf
● We’ll get in touch with them, share more about our work, and explore potential collaboration.
