From Monday the 4th of December 2023, we will be discontinuing access to our Opora matching platform. We have made this decision after carefully considering the current circumstances around the Homes for Ukraine visa scheme and our ability to add value to the matching process. Given the longstanding drop in the number of available UK hosts and the drop in the number of people asking to be matched, we have come to the conclusion that other matching organisations which offer a more individualised matching journey are better placed to ensure the quality and sustainability of matches and of the matching process itself.

Thank you to all those who entrusted us with helping them find and offer safety in the UK. With your help, we have assisted over 9000 people fleeing the war in Ukraine.

We are still carrying out all our other charitable activities, acting as one of the primary hubs for information and support for Ukrainians in the UK.
